But there’s an invisible hero beneath every great installation: the backing system. The quality of your turf’s backing determines how well it holds up to foot traffic, weather, pets, sports, and everyday life. And while many products focus on drainage or tuft bind alone, very few offer a complete solution. That’s why we created the [TriLock™ Backing System](https://www.turfdistributors.com/trilock-backing/) — the next evolution in engineered turf foundations. --- --- ![Turf-Distributors-TriLock-Backing-005](https://blog.turfdistributors.com/hs-fs/hubfs/Turf-Distributors-TriLock-Backing-005.jpg?width=657&height=438&name=Turf-Distributors-TriLock-Backing-005.jpg) What Makes TriLock™ Different? Unlike traditional single-layer backings, TriLock™ features a proprietary 3-layer system that’s designed to do it all: · Lock every fiber in place securely. · Provide rock-solid dimensional stability — helps prevent wrinkles, waves. · Drain water and liquids rapidly, keeping turf dry and fresh. · Help turf stay cleaner with built-in antimicrobial protection. Each layer plays a role in delivering performance that goes beyond any one feature. One of those layers is even made with renewable and recycled materials, supporting smarter, more responsible turf manufacturing without compromising on strength or reliability. TriLock™ was developed for the real-world demands of homes, parks, sports fields, and pet areas — and it's built to last. The Benefits You'll Notice Instantly: · No more turf shifting or buckling. · No standing water after rain or spills. · A lush, upright turf appearance that holds its shape longer. · Fewer odors and cleaner surfaces thanks to FreshGuard™ antimicrobial technology embedded in the backing. TriLock™ doesn’t just make artificial grass look better on Day One — it keeps it performing and looking fresh for years to come.   Ready for a Turf Upgrade? Whether you're a landscape professional, a pet facility owner, or someone who simply wants their backyard to stay beautiful, TriLock™ sets a new standard for what’s possible with artificial grass. Experience the TriLock™ difference — strength, stability, sustainability, antimicrobial protection, and speed of drainage in one powerful foundation.
